My Session

After watching the latest(s) episodes of Naruto since I’ve been out of the loop for a hot minute. I had nothing else to do so I drove around.
The streets were dead,
and I drove slow because I wanted to chill.
I drove really slow.

Then I lit a ciggarette and let my car take control.
I did it for a good 30 minutes.

It’s been awhile; you’ve been writing on random times,
and wasting time.
I like to believe that I am very successful at my life
especially at the age of 21.

But my demons.. God.. my demons…
They’ve never left me…
3.. 4.. 5 years? It’s been.
I can’t stop now, I’m too far in the game to stop.

Season’s Ceremony

The Stars spoke of a great night
They lined up in rows of three
Making sure the alignment was right
they glistened through the night
and wiped away the clouds

Making sure they were in sight
The Moon had to show up as well
Big and tall with all it’s might
Took it’s post and shined bright

The Trees swayed back and forth
Anticipating, and waiting
Just barely having changed their hair color;
From green to streaks of yellow, red, and maybe brown

It was Sir September’s first shift of the year
Everything had to be right, “punctual” he says
“Never too late, never too early”

In the distance, walking the horizon
Hand in hand with the Sun
Came Mother Nature’s Daughter
Autumn.

“Even nature dresses to impress”
